Willard K. Reed of Eugene, Oregon died March 1, 2010 of age related causes. He was 87. He was born November 4, 1922, in Metropolis, Illinois, to Arnold and Mary Reed. He married Hattie Morrison on November 30, 1942, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr Reed served in the Army from 1942 to 1945. He Worked as a mechanical engineer until he retired in 1983.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Williard Reed Jr of Anderson, Indiana; a daughter, Linda Gunn of Springfield, Oregon; and a sister, Donna Swart of Phoenix, Arizona. He has three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial will be set at a later date. |
