Todd Slack
Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer
At the age of 18,Todd started his lifelong career in the funeral industry. He brings over 20 years of experience to the team. He has operated several funeral homes in Oregon and is currently licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in the state of Oregon. Todd resides in Springfield with his wife Joy and three children Connor, Colton, and Chloe. Todd enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and landscaping. He is a member of the Lions Club International, Moose International and the McKenzie Business Association.
Joy Slack
Owner/Funeral Assistant
Joy is currently finishing her associate degree. She has been a funeral assistant for the past five years at Major Family Funeral. She enjoys meeting with the family and assisting them in making moving video tributes and personalized memorial folders. Joy enjoys playing golf, camping, canning, scrap booking, spending time with her husband Todd and three children Conner, Colton, and Chloe.
Randy Van Leuven
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Randy was born and raised outside of Redding California. In 2006 he graduated from American River College in Sacramento with a degree in Mortuary Science. After graduation he moved to Eugene. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has worked at Major Family Funeral Home since 2009. Randy is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loves to spend time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and working on his classic cars.
Henry Miller
Funeral Director
Henry has worked for Major Family Funeral Home since 1991. He is currently a licensed funeral director and pre-arrangement councilor. He belongs to the Lion Club International, McKenzie Business Association, and is a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3965. Henry enjoys camping with his RV, photography, and spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
